A Visit to Circleville Elementary: Imagination, Tigers, and a Giant Pumpkin

One of the most exhilarating aspects of going on a book tour is the opportunity to explore new places and stumble upon some truly unique sights. My latest adventure brought me to Circleville, Ohio, last Wednesday evening, a charming town with an unexpected and delightful surprise.
As I arrived in Circleville, Ohio for a Thursday visit at Circleville Elementary School, something caught my eye. Peeking above the treetops was a gigantic pumpkin, painted vibrantly against the Ohio sky. This wasn’t just any pumpkin, though. It was Circleville’s water tower, a nod to the town’s renowned annual Pumpkin Festival. Seeing this enormous pumpkin hovering like a friendly giant over the town was so cool.
My visit to Circleville Elementary, the Home Of The Tigers, was a great experience. The enthusiasm and energy of the students were infectious, making the event that much more fun! Hearing the loud cheers from them at the end of our time together was a reminder of why I love being an author.
A huge thank you to Circleville Elementary for the warm welcome. Your spirited environment and the sight of that extraordinary pumpkin tower made my visit to Circleville a memorable one!
