Tomorrow marks the official release of my latest book, Heavenly Kids! I can hardly believe the day is finally here. If you’re looking for a heartwarming, inspiring story that’s perfect for the whole family, I hope Heavenly Kids will find a special place on your bookshelf.
But that’s not the only new chapter in my life! Joining me in celebrating this release is the newest member of my family: Ruby. In the photo, you’ll see her sitting beside a copy of Heavenly Kids. (She’s already a fan, though I suspect her enthusiasm is mostly due to the treats I promised her for posing!)
Since joining our family, Ruby has brought so much happiness into our home. Her playful spirit and unconditional love are a daily reminder to cherish the simple moments. Having her around has also been a beautiful testament to the importance of love, connection, and faith, all fitting themes for Heavenly Kids, which explores the magic of family bonds and the power of hope.
I won’t lie: the night before a book release is always a bit nerve-wracking. There’s a little voice in my head that wonders, What if no one buys my book? But I remind myself that writing this story has already brought me much happiness, and that’s something worth celebrating. Knowing that Heavenly Kids will finally be out in the world tomorrow is both thrilling and a little scary, but it’s a journey I’m so grateful to share with all of you.
